Founded by Don Enrique Maynes Gaspar and Don Carlos de Fortuny, the firm began as a family-run practice in Barcelona. Three generations later, that same legacy continues, now led by Alejandro de Fortuny, the great-grandson of the founders, with headquarters in Marbella and offices across Spain and Europe.
From the early 1960s, Fortuny Lawyers pioneered legal guidance for foreign investors in Spain. In 1970, our presence in Marbella expanded to meet growing demand for international investment advice, real estate structuring, and cross-border legal strategy.
Today, we specialise in helping global clients move with clarity through Spain’s legal, banking, and business environment. Our work spans from real estate and inheritance law to corporate, labour, tax, and immigration matters with a multilingual team that serves clients fluently in English, French, and Italian.
